Pre-School Dance is suitable for children aged 2+ years. We provide a fun-filled 30/45-minute class which aims to develop and improve children’s gross motor skills. Through movement to music, mime and imaginative play, children experience physical, social, and cognitive development; it is the perfect introduction to dance for very young children.
ISTD Modern Theatre Dance
Modern is often seen on the stages of West End Musicals. This genre provides a wide range of exciting dance styles including aspects of contemporary, jazz, lyrical, blues and street dance. One of the most enjoyable aspects of this genre is the wonderful range of musical styles that can be brought into class.
Students can attain high levels of skill, by learning correct dance technique, which further complements all their other dance training.
Students can study the comprehensive ISTD syllabus, which provides a framework through progression from Primary to Advanced levels.
ISTD Tap Dance
Tap dance is exciting, fun and is very satisfying for young children as it is possible to create a simple rhythmic routine from the first lesson onwards. The children love the sound of their noisy feet, and quickly learn to listen carefully to the rhythm and beat of the music.
We follow the recently revised ISTD Tap dance syllabus, which provides a framework for progression from Pre-Primary to Advanced levels.
Pre-Primary classes are suitable for children aged 4 + years

These classes are taught by student teacher Audrey Kermabon, overseen by Jane, and are suitable for our more senior students.
